Terra Energy

Our Flagship Youth Training Program

Terra Energy in collaboration with Qatar Charity, an international non-governmental organization specializing in development and humanitarian aid, developed the Taqatuna bootcamp; an innovative skills development program for young Africans in the renewable energy sector.

This program aligns with our mission to empower African youth in the renewable energy and sustainability sectors and prepare them to be leaders of change in their communities.

Monitoring & Evaluation

Upon conclusion of the training workshop and the mentorship sessions, a monitoring and evaluation phase began and lasted for one month. During this stage, participants and Qatar Charity field office coordinators were requested to fill in the program evaluation survey. Youth participants were also closely monitored by Terra Energy's trainers to pinpoint any difficulties or challenges they were facing and provide necessary guidance.

Future Plans

Taqatuna was implemented as a pilot initiative and the next steps will be to implement this program as an in-person boot camp for 1000 young people in Africa by 2030.
