Terra Energy and Al Rasikh Solar Sign MoU to Advance Renewable Energy Projects in Sudan
Kigali – August 18, 2025
Terra Energy Ltd, a youth-led boutique consulting firm specializing in energy and climate advisory across Africa, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Rasikh for Solar Energy, a pioneering Sudan-based solar EPC company with a portfolio of 2 MW+ across Sudan , to launch a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating the development and implementation of renewable energy projects in Sudan. Under this partnership, Al-Rasikh Solar becomes the trusted technical partner for Terra Energy in Sudan.
This collaboration brings together Al Rasikh’s on-the-ground expertise and deep local market knowledge with Terra Energy’s technical advisory capabilities and regional partner network to deliver high-impact solar projects and developing project financing solutions that support Sudan’s recovery and sustainable development goals.
Under the MoU, the two companies will:
- Jointly identify and develop promising renewable energy opportunities.
- Design innovative financing models adapted to the Sudanese context.
- Collaborate on donor-funded programs, tenders, and public-private engagements.
- Co-create outreach materials and conduct joint promotional efforts to engage stakeholders.
