We are a Rwanda-based youth-led sustainable energy consulting firm specializing in market research, business development, and training.
At Terra Energy, we work with international organizations, philanthropies, industry associations, and the public and private sectors across Africa to design and implement innovative programs and initiatives that accelerate Africa’s energy transition.
We work across a broad set of sectors affecting Africa’s energy transition such as renewable energy, energy efficiency and management, electric mobility, smart cities, green buildings, desalination, and the energy-water-food nexus.
Our core competencies are market research projects, policy analysis, business model innovation, business development services, stakeholder engagement, training programs, and research and publications.
We believe in collaboration and hence we work closely with our global network of partners and supporters in multidisciplinary projects.
We are a youth-led company and we strongly believe in youth empowerment, and hence we offer a number of programs to up skill African youth such as our mentorship program and our research and academic training program.
But that’s not all – our knowledge platform, “Clean Energy 4 Africa” is a globally recognized hub for educational content on sustainable energy. In fact, the Clean Energy 4 Africa platform has been recognized by the UN Major Group for Youth & Children as being among the top 98 youth-based initiatives globally that support SDG 7.
